Since the creation of the world and the evolution of mankind, the sun has been nurturing us with its endless light and energy. However, in recent times, rapid population growth, urbanization and the increasing exploitation of fossil have set off a severe energy crisis. The carbon dioxide that results from fossil fuel consumption has led to a global warming crisis, which has triggered unprecedented challenges for mankind. On September 22, 2009, Tangyuan Bo Ai Middle School formally opened its doors to cheerful students and teachers. Located in Pi County, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, the construction of this brand new school was supported by BP.On a campus covering 5,800 square meters, the school now presents a future of fresh and exciting possibilities. Paul Bowdler, Production Director of SECCO, was awarded the prestigious Magnolia Award by the Shanghai Municipal Government on September 8th. This marks the fourth time a senior executive from SECCO – a joint venture between BP.
